When I bought this vehicle from a co-worker, I couldn't understand why the radio shorted out the main fuse each time the system was turned on.
Upon removing the rear seats and decklid, I located a large harness that was hidden between the outer and inner body panels of the vehicle. Evidently one of the previous owners decided to chop the harness to remove power from the rear decklid (which contains not only 4 of the 8 speakers, but 2 amps that run 2/3 of the MACH 460 system - but more about that later).
I had to rebuild my harness to get the amps and speakers as well as the rest of the system working again (without shorting out a fuse each time I wanted to hear more than the stock exhaust).
Once this page is completed, I will upload the colored schematics I had created (years ago now), which you may have seen around the internet (especially if you were on any of the Cobra specific or Modular specific forums).
